Questions people ask before they start
What is Career Mode (careermode.xyz)?
Career Mode is a free web app that tracks a FIFA or EA Sports FC Career Mode save: squad and academy, every transfer with its fee, match by match, season results, trophies and a Hall of Fame. It runs in the browser on phone and PC, in English and Spanish.
Is it free?
Yes. Two manager saves and one player save are free, with no credit card. Pro, from €1.99 a month, removes the save limit and adds the deep stats, the full club history and shareable reports.
Which FIFA and EA FC editions does it support?
Any of them. Real squads with ratings are built in for every edition from FIFA 15 to FC 27 (750+ clubs in FC 27), and any player can be added by hand for older games or modded saves.
Can I import my existing save?
Yes, if you play on PC and have Pro (beta). Pick your career save file and your squad is built from it. The file is read on your device and never uploaded: only player ids are matched against our rosters, which fill in names and ratings. Regens get placeholder names you can edit. On any platform, picking your club loads its real squad for free. After that, logging takes a minute after each match.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It is a web app: open careermode.xyz on iPhone or Android and add it to the home screen. Nothing to download, and the same save on your PC.
Can I share my season?
Yes. Season reports, player cards and the trophy cabinet render as images made for posting, and a save can be published to the community page for anyone to browse.
